River Rock Garden Bed Drainage System

The river rock is placed on top of a strategically placed perforated pipe to ensure that water is draining away from the foundation and to avoiding pooling. Paired with a mulch installation and garden bed shaping this design is now functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Swale on Side of Property

Shown in the photo above is a typical swale cross section which has been created following the property grading. A perforated pipe and 3/4 clear gravel is then installed for optimum drainage. This allows water to drain effectively and away from foundation while leading water directly to the catch basin.
